Who we are

The blanks division of a forty-year manufacturer

Meridian Blanks is the premium blanks and private-label arm of FTS Global — a design, sourcing and manufacturing group operating since 1987, with wholly owned factories in India and a partner network across fifteen countries.

We do not publish a catalogue. Every program is developed to your specification: your fabric weight, your fit block, your trims, your labelling. You get a single point of contact and a supply chain that already produces for luxury houses, high-street retailers and international catalogue brands.

What we do

Five ways we build product with you

Take one part or the whole chain. Most partners start with blanks and grow into full package.

  • 01

    Blanks & Cut-and-Sew

Purpose-built blanks made to your block, not adapted from someone else's. Automated cutting, advanced stitching and finishing across wholly owned and partner facilities, with MOQ bands that scale from first run to national program.

  • 02

    Design & Development

Design studios in Los Angeles, London, Barcelona, Delhi, Istanbul, Semarang and Hangzhou. AI-assisted design and 3D virtual sampling compress the development cycle and cut material waste before a single yard is cut.

  • 03

    Private Label

Your brand end to end — woven labels, custom trims, care and content compliance, retail-ready packaging and barcoding. Full traceability from raw fibre to finished carton.

  • 04

    DTG & On-Demand

Direct-to-garment and direct-to-fabric digital printing through our dedicated printing facility, plus embroidery, sequin and screen. Low-MOQ and print-on-demand programs that let you test a range before committing to bulk.

  • 05

    Brand Building

Trend forecasting, consumer insight and range architecture from teams who build commercial collections for a living — for brands that want a partner in the product, not just a factory.

Decoration & on-demand

Print, stitch and fulfil without the bulk commitment

Our group operates a dedicated digital printing facility built for direct-to-fabric and direct-to-garment work. Because the print step is digital, we can hold lower minimums, sample faster and run repeat colourways without new screens — and we use significantly less water doing it.

  • Direct-to-garment (DTG)

Full-colour prints on finished blanks. No screens, no setup charge, viable from a single unit.

  • Direct-to-fabric digital

Printing at the roll before cutting, for all-over patterns, engineered placements and panel prints.

  • Embroidery & sequin

Computerised embroidery and sequin machines in our own facilities, including appliqué and multi-head work.

  • Screen print

Traditional screen for high-volume graphic programs where unit cost matters most.

  • Print-on-demand

Produce against actual orders instead of forecasts. Test a range, keep working styles, drop the rest.

  • Labelling & finishing

Woven labels, heat transfers, hangtags, care and content compliance, retail-ready packing and barcoding.

Global network

Nineteen cities. Fifteen countries. One point of contact.

We place each program where it is genuinely made best — not where it happens to be convenient. Design and business development sit close to our clients in Los Angeles, London and Barcelona; product development and manufacturing sit close to the fibre.

Scroll the table sideways to see minimums and lead times.

Lead times run from confirmed order to ex-factory and assume approved bulk fabric. The bands below describe how regions compare against each other; cut-and-sew starts at 300 units per style, and stock blanks at 100.

Quality & compliance

Tested in our own laboratory, not a third party's queue

Quality control starts at development and runs to final shipment. Our group operates a dedicated quality assurance laboratory in Delhi conducting comprehensive chemical and physical testing, alongside in-process and final product inspections.

Laboratory accreditations

  • NABL
  • UKAS
  • CPSC
  • ILAC
Final inspection of a finished shirt before shipment
  • In-process inspection

Line inspection during production, not just a final AQL check when it is too late to correct.

  • Chemical & physical testing

Colourfastness, shrinkage, tensile and restricted-substance testing against international standards.

  • Compliance documentation

Care and content labelling, country-of-origin and market-specific compliance packs prepared with the shipment.

Group facilities

  • Mira

    Manufacturing

Our wholly owned manufacturing base in India, running automated cutting, digital printing, advanced stitching and computerised embroidery and sequin machinery.

  • Vikramaditya International

    Digital printing

A dedicated direct-to-fabric digital printing facility. Fast, high-quality sampling and bulk with significantly reduced water use — and the reason we can support lower minimums.

  • Standard Technical

    Quality assurance

Our Delhi laboratory, accredited by NABL, UKAS, CPSC and ILAC, carrying out physical and chemical testing and product inspection.

  • VogueServ

    Home & soft goods

The group's hub for home textiles and soft furnishings, with its own product development, quality assurance and compliance teams.

Sustainability

Certified fibre, traceable supply, lower-impact processing

We embed traceability into every stage of the supply chain — sourcing regenerative and organic cotton, prioritising water-efficient and low-impact dyeing and printing, and maintaining the documentation that lets you substantiate the claim on your label.

How it works

Brief to delivery

A single point of contact from the first conversation to the final carton.

  1. 01

    Brief

You share the spec — category, fabric, fit, volume band and target landed cost. We map it to the right region and facility.

  2. 02

    Development & sampling

3D virtual sampling first, then physical protos. Fabric development, wash and print trials, fit sessions until the block is right.

  3. 03

    Production

Bulk runs against a confirmed critical path, tracked through our order management and PLM platform with live status.

  4. 04

    Quality

In-process and final inspection, plus chemical and physical testing in our own accredited laboratory.

  5. 05

    Delivery

Multi-modal shipping by air, sea, rail and road, retail-ready and compliant with store and e-commerce requirements.
